Eva Spoustová

After graduating in 1997, she worked at a Pedagogical-Psychological Counseling Center in Jindřichův Hradec for a year. From 1999 to 2004, she was at the Psychiatric Department of České Budějovice Hospital, serving as a clinical psychologist on both psychiatric and somatic wards. During this time, she completed a 5-year SUR training in dynamic psychotherapy and obtained certification in clinical psychology. Her further education included art therapy and graphology. She also led a drug addiction counseling center in Jindřichův Hradec, later becoming a supervisor. She was an assistant professor at the University of South Bohemia, lecturing on communication in healthcare for nurses and doctors (topics included communication with agitated patients, assertiveness, Parkinson’s disease, experience of death, dementia diagnosis, existential psychotherapy). From 2004, she worked at the Eset Psychosomatic Clinic in Prague, conducting group and individual psychotherapy and psychodiagnostics. In 2005, she obtained certification in psychotherapy. She worked at Sanima psychiatric outpatient clinic and later Acach psychiatric outpatient clinic, conducting group and individual therapy. Since 2011, she has maintained a private clinical psychology practice and also works at the Municipal Polyclinic Spálená 12 as a clinical psychologist.
