The therapist’s work is based on humanist training, utilizing a non-directive approach emphasizing the human relationship between client and therapist, with absolute trust in the client’s ability for self-actualization. The principle is that a safe therapeutic relationship allows the client to feel accepted, valued, and respected. Through this unconditional acceptance, various topics can be explored to find effective ways of handling oneself, others, and external or internal events, bringing these experiences into practice. The therapist aims to help clients see themselves and the world in new horizons for a more satisfying life.
Educational background includes a degree from the University of Psychosocial Studies in Social Work with a focus on communication and applied psychotherapy. Psychotherapeutic training includes a Daseinsanalytic training in community and group psychotherapy (550 hours, 2004-2007, accredited by Czech Medical Society J. E. Purkyně) and PCA (Person-Centered Approach) training according to Carl Rogers (720 hours, 2011-2015, accredited by Psychotherapeutic Society of Czech Medical Society JEP).
Further courses and seminars include a Loona Dance Academy Instructor Course (180 hours, 2021-2022, accredited by MŠMT), Jeu de Peindre (Painting Play) training according to Arno Stern (2019), and Crisis Intervention (50 hours). The therapist continuously participates in courses, seminars, and conferences in psychology, psychotherapy, and philosophy, and undergoes regular professional supervision.
Work experience since 2012 includes private practice in counseling, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention. Previous roles include crisis intervention at the Život 90 helpline, supportive psychotherapy and psychosocial rehabilitation for clients with mental illness at O.s Baobab, leading communities, work therapy, and art therapy at Eset – help, and leading groups at the Drop In Aftercare Center.
Clients may be eligible for contributions from health insurance companies for mental health services. Pricing for individual consultations is 1,200 CZK/50 min. Cancellations less than 48 hours in advance are charged in full. Doctor’s referral is not required.
