Sevila Kačenová

Education includes Psychology (clinical psychology specialization) and Pedagogy from Charles University, and Management and Planning from the University of Economics. Psychotherapeutic trainings encompass internationally certified Trauma Therapy (EMDR), EFT I-III (Emotional Freedom Techniques) from AAMET, NLP (Neuro-linguistic Programming) by Richard Flook, family therapy, and gestalt therapy for helping professions. Sevila is also an internationally certified instructor for Oxygen Advantage functional breathing and Buteyko breathing techniques. Her practice integrates a variety of methods and approaches, including alternative ones, drawing from her experience in Chinese Chi-kung exercises and long-term meditation. Counseling and therapy are delivered within a psychosomatic and systemic framework. She assists adults with mood disorders, mid-life crises, relationship and family issues, post-traumatic conditions, post-divorce psychological problems, psychosomatic complaints (e.g., eczema, chronic pain, fatigue, migraines, asthma), self-discovery, personal growth, and spiritual/existential crises. For children, she addresses issues such as elimination disorders, frequent illnesses, sleep and eating disorders, behavioral problems, fears, adaptation challenges, autism, self-harm, and acute stress situations (e.g., divorce, bereavement). Beyond her therapeutic practice, she is involved in private education and healthcare. Sevila is a member of the Society of Psychosomatic Medicine of the Czech Medical Society of Jan Evangelista Purkyně and provides assistance to participants of Doctors Without Borders missions upon their return to the Czech Republic. Consultations are available individually, for couples, and families. She does not accept health insurance. Sevila is also the managing director of Alivesa s.r.o.
